I realize you guys are into older cameros, but this particular one has me stumped. keep in mind its a v6 with overdrive and the speedometer quit working about a month ago.(sorry I'm busy)and I have replaced the plugs, distributor cap, rotor, coil, plug wires, and had the ignition module checked seven times!(checked good every time)The car runs great for about a half an hour or so,you can punch it down ,no problem. But after that, say at highway speed,it starts bucking(around 2500-3000 rpm)you slow down a little and it seems to clear up until you get into it again. It's almost like it runs out of gas. Could a fuel pump act like this or is something breaking down after it warms up to operating temperature? It's my girlfriends car,and I'd kinda like to impress her by fixing the problem myself, but if I can't I guess there's other cameros out there!!

ok just a hunch go under the drivers side of the car and unplud the harness to the tranny and testdrive. if that fixes it the problem is in your tranny during lock up if not let me know
