currently having car repainted. int gutted moldings off etc. tried to start car (68 camero)everything dead lights, radio, wipers etc, battery checked out good . terminals are clean and tight. where do i start trouble shooting?

check your battery cables and their connections.

check your main power wire it sounds like your problem. It connects to the battery at the positive post and is a red wire maybe a number 10 size wire.

don't forget negative bat cable connections ( both ends ) and grounding straps... Also, if EVERYTHING is dead, put a meter on the battery and check voltage...it is easy to leave door open or some other current drain when prepping and painting a car ...
