Unhappy

I have a 96 camaro. As of monday I was using the windshield wipers and everything was fine, but when i turned them off instead of them going back down they come up and stay there. I can push them down but everytime i start the car back up they go right back up. Can you tell me whats going on? For some reason i can not get them to stay down.

there's a gizmo (park switch) inside the wiper motor that keeps the power on until the wipers are "parked" it's f____ up.

Hey dawg, sorry, i replied a couple of days ago but i guess it didn't take. Change the whole motor, or take the top off and fix it.

My 97 Gran prix does the same thing whenever I try using the wipers when they are frozen or plugged up with snow, after a few days they behave and go back normal, i rack it up to computers and electronics, they have a mind of thier own.
Can't help but just some moral support, You are not alone.

I work in service at a chevy dealership, this a common problem among trucks and blazers, replacing the wiper delay module fixes them, could be the same problem. it is a black cover on the motor held on with 3 or 4 screws. good luck
