My 68 (327)camaro turns over real slow after it has ran for awhile. Yesterday it would not turn over to even fire up...the car sat overnight and it turned over fine this morning. I turned it off and tried to restart it to see if it was ok and the thing would not turn over again. Seems if it is cool it turns over fine. The battery shows 12v with the engine off and 13 volts with the engine running. Any clues

Welcome to the club!!! Where ya from?

Might be heat soaking of the starter. Or a dragging starter, time for replacement.

Clean battery posts and clamps and clean at the other end of the cables, especially ground.

Charging voltage seems alittle low, s/b min 13.5 volts. Belt tight or need replacement?

You might even have to add another ground cable from a bellhousing bolt directly to a cleaned off spot on the frame. Autos tend to loose their ability to ground over the years. It worked for me on my 69. Also make sure your timing is not too far advanced....Scott
