Approx how much vacuum advance should you be getting at idle?
Checked with vacuum unhooked (plugged) and again hooked to vac can and am getting 8deg.
Is that enough?
Timed it (unplugged) @ 14 deg initial and 36 deg total all in by 2800 rpm.
Just wondering if 8 deg is enough @ idle.

Forgot. It's a Crane adjustable can.

With the can disconnected and the port plugged. Timing should be between 6 & 10 BTDC when the engine is warmed. Otherwise 32-36* total timing.
