I wanted to thank all the guys who helped me with my problem . Just a note to tell them that I pulled the tank only to find that the Rag was so brittle that it crumbled in my hand . Now I'm going to reroute the fuel line to see if that helps the gas flow. Again Thanks .

Great! I have headers and the line runs in the stock location without any problems.

Hey RickD what size fuel line are you running and are you using an electric or mechnical fuel pump?

I have the stock 3/8" line with a Carter mechanical pump. I also put the thermo-wrap around the line in the engine compartment.

RickD, I've got the same except for an Edelbrock pump and my fuel boils when hot. The gas line is also wrapped. Go figure.
