I have an 87 2.8 liter camaro
It has and in tank electronic fuel pump
I recently dropped a 305 and blew the carb using the stock pump so i put a regulator on and used the stock mechanical pump and everythin was fine
Now i dropped a built 350 and everytime i open the 4 barrels it stalls Its like the line loses its prime
My question is can i run the stock electric pump to the regulator to the carb

I had also pulled the wiring harness so now when i put the fuse back in the fuse box for the pump nothing happens do you guys have any suggestions
Or should i take out the electric pump anvd run the mechanical right to the carb

I don't know that much about the 87 fuel systems, but on the first gen Camaros the 6 cylinder and low perf V8's have a smaller 5/16" diameter fuel line while the SS models and Z28's have a 3/8" line. You might want to see what size the fuel line is - if its small you'll need to replace it with bigger and probably the pump too. My 84 Z28 had the 3/8 supply line and a couple extra smaller lines for emmisions and vent.
