I just got done installing some electric gauges. But they don't work!!! I'm really torqued off about this since I spent all evening wiring it up just right and insulating everything!!!

I only have the volts and temp hooked up (didn't do the sending unit for the oil pressure yet) and they light up but don't work. What's strange is I hooked up the lights with the volts and they all share a common ground and positive except for the positive on the lights that go with the dash.

PLEASE HELP.....thanks

Sounds like the wire to the sender, or the sender itself. the temp gets the info from the sender as the motor heats up. Also try another ground. hope this helps.

Thing is it's got the same ground as the sterio. If the sterio had a bad ground it wouldn't work right.

What's really got me is the volts don't work. It would seem that the volts would work.

I think I'm just gonna send it back.

If a power wire touched the sender terminal, those gauges are history. That may have happened on accident.
