i just finished putting a hot cam and rockers in my fast burn it ran for about a hour than a huge puff of gas came out of the secondaries and has not started again help. running msd 8474 direct to fuse box on coil . have 12 volts at coil and juice to cap . carb 770 holley

Start by pulling the spark plugs, and check for fouling. Double check fuel pressure and carb float levels.

okay thank you. for the results first two plugs were oil filled dripping wet and the second before it shut down just adjusted the fuel level in the sight glass to half way up but it would not go lower .
i had 6-7 pounds of fuel pressure .

i finally got it started. but it took putting back original gm hei distributor
