HEY GUYS I HAVE A/N 82 CAMERO Z28/305,I RECENTLY PUT A NEW A/C SYSTEM IN.I GOT EVERYTHING NEW BUT NOW I NOTICED THAT WHEN I RUN THE CAR W/ THE A/C ON IT BEGINS TO OVER HEAT,I REPLACED THE RADIATOR AND HOSES ON THE CAR,BEFORE IT WAS NOT OVER HEATING NOW WHEN I RUN THE A/C,THE CAR OVER HEATS AND WANTS TO DIE.ALSO I REPLACED THE MOTOR AND MOST OF THE SENSORS ON THE CAR PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JE

Have you tested your thermastate? If it works try setting it to 160 to 170. That should keep it from over heating.

make sure the fan kicks in when you turn the A/C on , otherwise it will heat up , mine actually runs COOLER with the A/C on , cause the fans always a runnin.

Your may need to adjust the solenoid in front of the throttle to get the idle up when the A/C is running.

put the air damm back under the front end.change the thermol fan.
