I have a 1989 iroc 305 tpi.The engine is running extremly rich.I have had the mas, oxygen, tps.iac sensors checked and reset.Changed temp sensor, air temp sensor, ignition module, plugs, dist.cap, rotor, wires. Also had timing also checked good.Changed The fuel reg. too.It will run fine for a minute then start running rich.Could the egr cause this? It's the only thing left.I need some help!Running out of sanity and money.

try cleaning out your vaccuum lines to the egr valve and egr solenoid with carb cleaner.also check to see if you have any loose bolts on the tpi manifold especially around the plenum chamber, runners, and throttle body and covers. also check condition of the rest of your vaccuum lines

Make sure the vacum line to the fuel pressure regulator is providing vaccum to it.
I have seen some small vac lines plug with gummy carbon from EGR on TBI units, might happen on a TPI.
Is the fuel pressure going up when it goes rich?
