1975 6V71 Blower

The blower is leaking from the front pulley and or sprocket. I am not for sure how to change the seal... is there a breakdown, somatic, or blueprint that I can find?

Re: 1975 6V71 Blower

Pretty simple repair, the snout unbolts. Remove the pulley, then take out the 6 allen head bolts behind the pulley. pull the snout off, replace the gasket and reassemble. Check to make sure the snout seal isn't leaking, you might as well replace it while the snout is off. If it's on the car, you may want to drain the lube out of the blower first. if it's of the car and you stand it on end, then the oil will stay put.
