Powerglide Pops out of drive

I have a '68 Camaro drop top with a powerglide trans. I had it rebuilt w/a 2500 stall converter. Under load in
drive from a stop the trans pops into neuteral and the engine revs. What's up with my trans?

Re: Powerglide Pops out of drive

Might pay you to pull the pan and look at the shift detents in the valve body or any of the outside linkage that may not be aligned correctly . PG trans are pretty simple to work on.
