tach

I have been thinking, I don't do it often, about putting in a original tach in my 69 and putting in some console gauges. I was wondering if it would work with an msd dist.6al? My dist. # is 8361. I really do not like the monster tach I have and I am going to go to a more original look. You know, walk silent and carry a big stick theory.

Re: tach

it can most likely work or be made to work. If it doesn't work right, MSD sells a tach filter, GM used filters in a number of cars, these can be had, and I made one to make my tic toch tach work with an MSD RTR, can link you to the plans. In dash tach in sweet to have, for the other guages, auto meter's console pod might be better (and for sure way cheaper) than the repro factory stuff.
