A throw-out bearing will make a racket that changes when you depress the clutch. I can't recall if it chatters more when the clutch is depressed or released. If the car keeps moving, I'd stop driving it right away. Otherwise, you'll heat damage the surface of the flywheel and it will need to be turned or replaced, not to mention burning up what is left of the clutch.
