Unhappy '95 Z-28 Ignition Switch replacement

I would like to know 2 things: 1. What's the best way to replace an Ignition Switch in a '95 Camaro Z-28 and, 2. How do you replace the Ignition Lock Cylinder in the same car? Also, does the new Ignition Lock cylinder include a new PASS II Key?

Steering wheel removal is a step in replacing the lock cylinder.
Yes, a key comes with it. You have to take your proof of ownership to the dealer and your key so you will get the right set-up.

If you are going to replace the cylinder, get a Haynes manual and read it several times. Collect the tools needed, Torx comes to mind. AutoZone offers steering wheel pullers. Harbour Freight has it all, including the tool to press down the lock plate to remove the C-clip.

Patience is another tool needed, no store sells this.
