I have a 79 camaro. I noticed there is a gas leak coming from the rear. when i get under the car I notice that there is a rubber line coming from the top of the gas tank that runs into a metal line. It looks like the rubber is all rotten. Is this an easy line to fix without dropping the gas tank? does the rubber line connect to a metal line on the gas tank? any ideas will help, thanks guys.
how do you mean i need to drain some fuel? should i get like an oil pan and put it under the car and unhook the line at the bottom of it before it hits metal, and just let whatever drain out that will drain out? or is there more of a process to it than that??
