Question cat converter changing or removing

guys, does any body have information and pictures for how to change or remove the cat converter in a Z28 97 ??
pleaase help!

Well, changing a cat is about the same for any vehical. You start at the cat and move down the pipe till you come to the bolts, remove the bolts then the cat. If there are any cross beams, remove them or lower them so you can remove the cat. another way is to just cut the old cat off and weld in or strap on another.

I just had to do the same to my 94 Z28. I cut the cat off the car and had a shop weld a new cat on. It cost about 70 bucks for the weld and the bit of pipe they needed to add on. I bought a universal cat from magnaflo and that was $63.00 online at auto parts wharehouse... good luck
