Angry Bad connection?

I have a 93 camaro 3.4, I replaced the starter and the neg battery cable, It started right away, I started to drive it sounded alot louder then before, maybe I didnt tighten the y pipe tight enough or something else is wrong in the exhaust, it gets worse I am driving and it acts like it wants to stahl, this is at night it stops and then acts fine I stop for a while and then drive it again all of a sudden my lights go out the car just shuts off and I am clueless as to why, I pull in a parking lot open the hood and check the battery caonnections and they are fine and it starts up I drove it home and here we are, I am in need of help trying to under stand this, also the battery guage kept going down and then back to where it should be, Alternator maybe but it was working fine untill I changed the starter.
Thanks Ed

Re: Bad connection?

the big lug on the starter is loose, and you are getting an intermittant connection...as for the loud exhaust, try tightening the y pipe, and if still loud, change the gaskets from the manifold to the ypipe
