Welcome aboard ! 67's are the easiest to figure out originality as the cowl tag will show the main options. Camaro VIN, Cowl Tag, and other Numbers Decoding

RS for example, is code L in the 3 field (group). But keep in mind, it's not uncommon for cowl tags to be changed or reproduced. If you can provide a photo of the tag would help immensely.

You can use a 3rd party pic hosting site to post pics on this site. I use postimage

Your car may or may not have been "born" with the RS option which was a trim, not performance, option

The RS option could have been on any model/engine offered.

Not saying your car is or isn't. Would need a pic of the cowl tag. But....as noted cowl and VIN tags sadly can be counterfeit or harvested from another car

Many "built" first gens are not what they were new. Many 6 cyl models are now V8. Nothing wrong with this as long as the car is represented as a "clone" or "tribute" vs "original"

Unfortunately, the items you listed are the "easier" items to change to make a fake RS.

Where are the back-up lights and the parking lamps located? These items require more body work than adding emblems or a horn button.

Most likely the RS features have been added then. Not a big deal as it's a custom build as you well know. If you want to post all the info on the cowl tag and the VIN, we should be able to give you a better idea on originality.

Other RS features, as shown and mentioned, are the back-up light location is under the bumper, brightwork on rain gutter, wheelwell trim, flush grille with header panel, front turn signal lights on valance below bumper, hood latch handle access through valance panel hole, and panels on bottom of body.
IF original Trim Tag is present, as suggested, look for an 'L' in next to a '3'. Trunk spoiler is optional.

If it's a custom build, then it doesnt really matter what it started life as. It's no longer that and what it started life as no longer really adds or subtracts any value at this point.
