I saw this one too. I think hes either just confused/doesnt know, or has been given bad info. Or both. I think he was told it was a Z10 by someone because its a coupe with orange houndstooth. We all know Z10s can have any interior, and any car could get orange HS eventually.

Also has the red, white, and blue 302 emblem on the hood. Havent seen one of those before.

I dont think the guys a crook, just ignorant. Or maybe really bad at being a crook.

Re: 1969 RS SS Z28 camaro?

Run in the opposite direction... At $32k and reserve not met it's over priced... No 1st gen Z/28 came with an automatic, no 1st gen Z/28 got the SS options and no Z/28 was ever combined with a Z10 which was a white w/hugger orange stripes and any interior as already noted RSSS coupe. If the area around the grill and RS headlights is an indication of the rest of the car don't run, take a jet in the opposite direction for the price already showing...

Re: 1969 RS SS Z28 camaro?

have to wonder why he can't even roll down the windows or open the door to get a picture of the interior

no open hood shot either

gotta love the pic of the monkeys taking the car cover off

I would guess that he doesn't even own the car

wonder if that is a factory a/c Z28 Z10 Z22 Z27 Z87 ZL2?

Re: 1969 RS SS Z28 camaro?

I e-mailed him - here's what I sent, and his response:

You asked:
"The description is not only wrong, but it's fraudulent; NO Z/28 ever came with an automatic transmission, the SS package wasn't available with Z/28 either, the Z-10 package was never available with the Z/28, there was never a red/white/blue "302" emblem, etc. Why no photos of the engine, interior, trim tag, or VIN plate?"

it is a 4 speed tranny my wife answered that question without asking me . call me and i will give you #s 1-505-804-5676.

Re: 1969 RS SS Z28 camaro?

Who are the people bidding on this? I hope they've actually seen the car. This has SCAM written all over it. Somebody with a "Z-28" and a cherry Cameo should be a little more knowledgeable about his "vehickle".

I wonder if the Cameo also has a red, white and blue emblem on the hood...
