Help With Master Cyl.

i have a manual front disc rear drum brake sys.i want to convert to power brakes. i already have a booster,will i need to change the master cyl.

i think you do also need to change the master. any book i looked in says power or non power master.

both masters are same 1" bore. Drum master has a residual pressure valve in the front section that would need to be removed to work with disks.

Power master usually has a "short hole" manual master has a "deep hole."

These things can be overcome, but probably not as easily as buying a $30 dick master at your local auto parts store.
