Would this be a good conversion

This guys lives not to far from me and I was wondering if this is a good setup for a 67 camaro with a 396 4spd. The car I have came stock with drums but it will cost about $200 to fix the front drums so I thought this is a better way to go. Does this kit have everything I will need to convert?

If the kit is no good who has a good setup? I noticed those calipers looked like single pistons also.

Re: Would this be a good conversion

I would recommend against going with the 2" Drop Spindles! Use 1" or 1.5" drop springs instead, don't use drop spindles on a first gen camaro..

Re: Would this be a good conversion

It causes interference problems between the steering arm/tie rod end and the wheel. See if he'll give you the same deal but with stock height spindles.

Funny, but in the body of the ad he mentions stock height spindles.

Re: Would this be a good conversion

I agree dont use drop spindles. looks like you would need to get the 2 front steel brake lines from the master to the wheel i dont see them in the kit you showed but they should be replaced also..

Don't forget to post your results
it's good for the thread
