67/68 (4-piston caliper) disc brake ques.

I'm looking to put together an original 67/68 disc brake setup...

I know 67/68 used the 4 piston calipers, have diff. caliper brackets, backing plates, etc.

Are the disc spindles the same for 67/68 and '69?
On the backing plates, I know the diff. is at the center, one has the flange, ..the other doesn't. I just can't remember which it was. Was it '67/'68 that has the flange, ...or '69?

...I am looking for spindles and caliper brackets if anyone has them...

Thanks,
Kevin

Smile Re: 67/68 (4-piston caliper) disc brake ques.

You can buy both/everything new!!

And disc spindles are for disc's..

And the 4-piston backing plates are different than the big single piston, '69 caliper backing plates!!

AND imho, you will be better off using all new '69 big single piston caliper stuff UNLESS you are CLONING it b/c even GM found out that they aren't as good as the big single piston calipers so they switched!!

My big single piston calipers are wrapped around 13" rotors using my "pdqCBB" front disc brake conversion so I've looked into this at length!!
