Proper BB Power Steering hose routing

Does anyone have a picture or can tell me what the proper Power steering hose routing ( especially Pressure hose) on a 68 396.
I've been fighting the pressure hose trying to hook it up. I can't seem to get the hose to cooperate on the pump side. I'm following the way it was before I replaced it with a new one. If I run it between the P/S pump and upper bracket the hose wants to lay against the exhaust manifold.

Thanks
Ray

Both hoses run under the frame mount to the p/s pump.

Re: Proper BB Power Steering hose routing

I've seen a hose assy that has the return hose sticking straight out of the steering box. By that I mean aprox 6" of metal tube sticks straight up, then the hose begins.
I think there is a different BB hose than SB.
