rancho shocks/cal tracks

Is anyone running the rancho shocks that go with the cal trac setup? the reason that I am asking,is because on my 68 the shocks seem like they are about 2 inches away from bottoming out.I drove the car for the first time and it did'nt ride very well.I am wondering if these shocks do not work good on camaros. Thanks

I run the Rancho's and homemade Caltrac copys. Rides fine IMO... what is your shock setting ?
Mine are set at 2 on the street and 3 to 5 at track.

Thumbs up Re: rancho shocks/cal tracks

Which Rancho's do you have (rs5000 or rs9000)? I have been using them for about 4 years with just C/E traction bars and I just switched to Caltracs and all is fine with mine. I did have to play with the adjustments.

67 RS Clone, 388 SBC/Keisler TKO 600/12 bolt, 3.90 gear w/posi and a 250 shot of N2O for fun. See my progress at: password is camaro
