low brake pressure

Iíve been trying to bleed my brakes without success so I got a motive pressure bleeder and was able to get some pressure. The problem is it isnít much pressure; itís a 4-wheel disc setup with c4 calipers and a manual master cylinder.

When I bleed the brakes all I get is fluid no air bubbles, so I donít think its air in the system. But I canít seem to get good pressure. Any thoughts on what mite be wrong?

Re: low brake pressure

The front caliper bleeder fittings are on top. The rear calipers fittings are on the side and centered on the caliper.

Re: low brake pressure

And if the bleeders are not on the top when mounted, you said the rears on centered, you will have to unbolt them and hold the calipers so the bleeder is the highest point. Then the air will rise and should exit via the bleeder.
Also it might be worth it to tap the master and calipers a few times while bleeding, they say air can stick to the side of the castings and a few taps with the handle of a screwdriver will knock them loose.

Did you bench bleed the master? Is the pushrod adjusted correctly?
