Stock 69 ride height

Does anybody know the stock measurement from the ground to the middle body line on the front fender? My car sits between 26-26.5 in. Just curious if it is already lower than stock. My concern is the installation of 2in drop spindles to adjust ride height versus ground clearance.

Re: Stock 69 ride height

You should measure approx. 9.25" to 9.5" at a point 33" from the center of the front wheel back. Measure from the ground to the bottom of the fender. The measurement varies for wheel size and model. This info is in the AIM.

You DO NOT want to use drop spindles, anyway. Do a search, and you will find tons of info. If you want to lower the front, use drop springs... NOT spindles.

Re: Stock 69 ride height

Thanks for the heads up. I spent the last half hour reading on them. Maybe I misunderstood the vendor. I'm getting QA1 Stocker Star AL Shock fronts with 1906f springs from I believe Hotchkis. Are the Ridetech spindle1000 s drop spindles?
