Question ssbc brake question?

Can anyone tell me which brand of tubular control arms I might be able to run with a SSBC brand disc brake conversion kit? I have drum spindles. Will I need to change over to disc brake spindles? I also need to add rear disc kit as well.

Thanks

Re: ssbc brake question?

The control arms don't care whos spindles you use.
If you buy the SSBC kit, it comes with the spindles. SSBC also makes a rear end kit.

Re: ssbc brake question?

I'm not sure I worded this right. I already have the SSBC front disc conversion kit installed which incorporated my original drum spindles. Do most of the better brands of tubular upper control arms work with the drum type spindle, or will I need to replace the drum spindles with disc type spindles.

Thanks again

Yes, any aftermarket spindle designed for your car will work with drum or disc spindles. We have a few different brands of control arms.

We have deals on

Re: ssbc brake question?

Brian,

If I got this correct now. The A arms are installed and your wondering if you should install disc spindles vs the drum spindles to complete your brake build? If this is the case, then definately switch to the disc spindles to complete the disc brake conversion.
