Why not the b-body spindle?

I have a g-body car that is going to be parted out. The Big B-body spindle and 1LE brake rotors are on it. Besides the long steering arm and ball joint differences, why can't these be used on a 1st gen? I know the car is rear steer, but I'm curious to what would be that different about it.

Re: Why not the b-body spindle?

Well, for starters it's front steer, has a totally different KPI, is heavy as hell, and generally will make the geometry worse.

Use a tall spindle made for the car that fixes everything like the AFX spindle.

Re: Why not the b-body spindle?

I have extra parts and there was a noticeable lack of info on the subject so I just asked. Just curious, not really shopping.

Re: Why not the b-body spindle?

steering arm on the wrong side of caliper, they need to be on the same side.
steering arm WAY too high.
balljoint tapers 10 degrees, first gen is 7 degrees.
Steering arms might have the same taper.

Check my web page for First Gen Camaro suspension info:

Re: Why not the b-body spindle?

I think I'm getting most of the answers I asked, but let me ask this... Would the reversed spindle cause any changes to caster?
