Rear end lowering

need your ideas. my 67 coupe has 5 leaf rear springs. i need to lower 2".
don't want to buy new springs or modify them. i made 2" aluminum
lowering blocks or should i remove 1 leaf? which leaf ? car is stock 327/275, street use only. thanks.

Someone here recently had the same issue. They removed the 2nd from the bottom leaf and it went down.

thanks doug g. i will think about the spring issue. i was leaning towards
lowering blocks. i used them years ago when i was younger. i had 4"
blocks on my factory 270 hp 57 chevy with 1 1/2 coils cut out of front end. never had a problem.

Jerry,
I'm working on my rear suspension and am considering height issues also. You can go to a "spring place" and they can de-arch your springs. I got a quote of $75 each. Then you can keep the same spring rate.
