Right side motor mount has a U shaped cable with a metal rod at the en

Can anyone tell me how this cable should connect to the engine. It does not have a bracket like the drivers side that atttaches to the exhaust manifold bolts and I'm pretty sure it was part of the engine mount recall

The cable is looped over the exhaust manifold (under the plug heat shield), and attached to front and back of the engine mount. The correct cable has mounting holes on either end.....no metal rod.
