Power Steering Hoses

I know this is a basic question, but I have forgotten how the power steering hoses attach to the power steering box. I believe the pressure hose attaches to the lower fitting on the steering box, the one closest to the front of the car and the return hose goes to the upper fitting. Is this correct?

Car is a 68 coupe with 350, 4 speed with factory air.

Re: Power Steering Hoses

Correct. I'm working on this today. The pressure hose is closest to the engine.

Re: Power Steering Hoses

You guys are correct. I remember the hose positions this way:
The low pressure (return line hose) is located next to the input shaft. The input shaft seal is a low pressure seal so the hose next to it is low pressure. The high pressure hose is next to the aluminum side (actually top) cover.
