69 Z28 rear wheels lockup

Ok the car has been sitting for months, I take it out for a drive & the rear tires lockup on anything but real easy slow stops. No fun to drive when you can't step on the brakes for fear of the rearend coming around. So I read all the posts I could find & it looks like its the proportioning valve giving too much pressure to the rears. So it is the valve attached to the frame below the floor right? Any sources for a replacement?
Thanks
Bill

It could be the valve is cutting off the front brakes.
Look at the tip of the rod pointing front wards. There should be about 1/4 inch sticking out.
If more, then a hard & fast rear bleeder open will reset the valve.
You might find a replacement at your local parts store.
