Retainer clip???

I put a disc brake kit on my 67 which was originally rear drums, in the rear theres nowhere to put the retainer clip to hold the brake line from the caliper, i saw somewhere to put one on the axle and clamp it down but i cannot find the retainer clip that would let me do that. where can i find these type of retainer clips?

Re: retainer clip???

you can weld it onto the ale tube.

another way is to weld it to one of the Rear diff U bolts.....

I know you're talkin about the retainer clip not the brake line. The OP is wondering where to get the clip to weld on. (I wish I had a clue)

Re: retainer clip???

close, im actually looking for the retainer clip that i would be able to clamp onto the axle since i do not have access to a welder right now.

it looked like a regular retainer clip with a 90degree bend at the bottom and a little tab i could put a clamp on.

Re: Retainer clip???

This one can be attached with a large hose clamp.

This is the clip that holds the flex line in place.

The clip can easily be fabricated.
