Uneven rear

My 69 camaro is almost an inch higher on the passenger side than the drivers side. I just installed a 12 bolt with poly leaf cushions instead of rubber. I had a 10 bolt and it was a little high but now with the 12 bolt it's almost an inch. Trying to think of an inexpensive fix and a friend suggested a 1 inch aluminum spacer on the high side to lower it. Any suggestions? Thanks, Wayne

Re: uneven rear

Was the car on the ground when you tightened everything up? Are your front springs indexed/clocked correctly and sitting in their pockets properly? Google "Afco Lowering Blocks" if you want to lower it. I think Jegs and Summit carry them. Goodluck!
