Question Parking brake removal at subframe (rear)

I have disconnected and dropped the subframe from my 69 rs/ss, front disc rear drum. But can not remove the parking brake cable from the subframe. It runs thru the frame on the drivers side. Help?

Thanks,
Eric

Re: Parking brake removal at subframe (rear)

There should be a retaining clip round the cable on the inside of the frame rail. Check out the link to see what your looking for. Just remove the clip and the cable should come out.

Thumbs up Re: Parking brake removal at subframe (rear)

Thanks. I could not see it through the rust and debris. Worked great.
