Breaks vacume pump help

Hi all I am looking for info on how to plum up my vacume pump. it has a suction side and an out let side. I was told a few diff way to hook up one just to brake booster and one in between the motor and booster . Not sure what is best? and suction to booster and out let to??? it is a Delco auxiliary brake booster vacuum pump from a late model Volvo. This is the same pump that was in the late model GM X and J body cars from the early 80's. Automatic on/off switching works and it pulls vacuum down to 22''. This pump is used but in very good condition. Sorry about big text was a copy paste Need info thanks

Dan
