Steering box

Hi all, i have just got a second hand flaming river manual steering box, it has no numbers on it anywhere apart from 6A, the guy i got it from says it is a quick ratio box 1 and a half turns, i have taken my steering column off and the rag joint is fixed to the end, the original steering box has about 4" coming out and the new one only has 1 and a quarter inch sticking out, can anyone tell me what kit i need to get to connect this box to my column, thanks

Re: Steering box

I don't know of any boxes that are THAT quick to be only 1 1/2 turns. I think 2 1/2 turns is the fastest. 12-1

I may be wrong.

Re: Steering box

A manual box that is 1 1/2 turns or even 2 1/2 turns lock to lock, you are going to build muscles every time you park that thing.
But on to the question. It sounds like you need an extension of some sort, I don't know of anyone who makes one. I would call flaming river and see what they have.
Posting some pictures would help out.
