Leaky Proportioning valve

Hey all need a little advice. Did a power disc brake conversion on my 68. Got the kit from Matt's and was made by The Right Stuff. Anyway after bleeding the system found a leak under the rubber plug on the front of the valve. I tightened the nut on the front and had no affect still leaks. Found some other posts on this but I want to fix this without removing and replacing and bleeding all over again. Any help would be great. Thanks

Re: Leaky Proportioning valve

A leak in brakes NEEDS to be fixed correctly...no short cuts...people die

Pull it off remove and clean, check threads etc.

Not trying to juryrig it just wondering if anyone has had this problem before and what they did to remedy it.

Have them replace the valve. Awhile back a large batch of those Chinese prop valves had leaks in front just like yours. They used the wrong "gasket" material and they all leaked.
