Power Steer Pump Fitting

I want to run braided line for my p.s., my problem is the male pressure fitting on the pump does not fit AN hose ends. It is bigger than a #6 and smaller than a #8. I looked for an adapter but no one seems to make it.Somebody must of run into this before!
thanks mark

Re: Power Steer Pump Fitting

Make very sure, you use high pressure hose, standard will not work.

Re: Power Steer Pump Fitting

Try Speedway motors, I think they have the adapter you are looking for and they carry a stainless steel braided p/s hose kit.

Thanks Dan, I see a adapter that looks like it will work. I will have to get mine out and check the thread. By the way they have a lot of cool stuff

Re: Power Steer Pump Fitting

I had a similar idea and found these a whyle back. these similar fittings are in steel if you want to go that route.

BE different....ACT normal.

No one is completely useless..They can always be used as a bad example
