lowering block

I was wondering if anybody ever used lowering block on their rear suspension. I have a 67 camaro on 18" wheels and I am wanting tolower the rear end doown 1.5". Where can i get lowering blocks?

The best / safer way to lower the rear is to purchase lowering leaf springs. Or have a spring shop re-arc your current springs, this can be done for cheap. Lowering it 1.5" with a block can be done but is really pushing it. Most recommend nothing larger than 1" block. Very easy to make your own, with centering hole and then you will need longer U bolts. You can buy the blocks and U bolts at Autozone or any other auto parts store sold in lift kits. Hope this helps.

1.5" is fine, just search here and I bought some from summit.

Make sure you use a cast iron lowering block. Don't use an aluminum one. If you have very much power you will crush an aluminum one.
