Suspension upgrade question

I have upgraded my sway bars, subframe con., poly bush, cross brace, lowering leaf springs and new shocks. What else can I do to improve my ride? I saw a company called ridetech at the power tour and need your thoughts on using their set up or another. I have a 69 convert with a 320 hp small block. Thanks for any help.

Re: Suspension upgrade question

Where do you feel it is still lacking? What kind of springs and shocks are you using? Good quality springs and shocks can help a lot. Are you looking for good cornering or just a smooth ride? Depending on what you want there are some trade offs between a stiffer ride and good cornering and road imperfection absorbing ability. I have the Hotchkis TVS and it seems to do a good job of doing both.

68 RS Coupe 355/350 TH, Detroit Speed, Hotchkis, Vintage Air, 8.5" 3.42 posi 10-bolt, MagnaFlow 2 1/2" exhaust, etc.

Re: Suspension upgrade question

I used the Hotchkis set up, which helped alot, but I feel the front end still feels mushy and not as tight as I would like.

Did you upgrade your steering box ? That is one of the most needed upgrades !

Tight steering, fast ratio, with a firm feel like an AGR box !

Re: Suspension upgrade question

Upper control arms and a minor relocation will improve caster and camber. Steering box as mentioned also.
