67 Firebird Traction on Camaro

I pick up a 67 Firebird Traction bar,and try to mount it to the camaro.looks like the firebird front body mount bracket is the same. But I know that I am going to have to buy the rear bracket that mounts the bar to the rearend.
dose anyone know if the firebird Traction bar is the same length as the camaro? The Firebird bar is 20-1/4 inch long, thats center of both bolt holes.

Re: 67 Firebird Traction on Camaro

Greetings from Arizona
I have 69 Camaro Conv with 67 Firebird 10 bolt posi with TWO traction bars. the bracket is welded to rear housing and I put steel plates under rear seat to secure other end of bar...so far working good....2 years or so, has been 1/4 mile raced. with staggered shocks and 2 traction bars I get hardly any wheel spin....Jay
