Wilwood 4 Wheel Disk Brake Setup

Hey guys, I just bought a Wilwood's 4 wheel disk brake kit for my 67 camaro and since the front rotor hubs are setup by Wilwood to use a 1/2 wheel stud, I wanted to know what you did about the rear studs? Did you just use the 7/16 factory wheel studs or did you go to 1/2 wheel studs to match the fronts?

Re: Wilwood 4 Wheel Disk Brake Setup

From Wilwood's assembly manual:

"Verify that the wheel axle stud size is 0.50” diameter. The Wilwood hats
utilized in these kits are drilled for 0.50” diameter wheel studs."

I would change out the studs...

Re: Wilwood 4 Wheel Disk Brake Setup

i was replacing my axles with new hardened ones at the same time. i would recommend this since you have to pull them anyways to get the new brackets on. the prices ranged from $200-$400 for the pair. pretty reasonable in my mind.

i then installed 1/2-20X2" screw in studs.
