Energy Susp control arm bushing disassembly?

I am installing the front control arms using energy suspension bushings and have a question on the disassembly of the bushings themselves . The instructions are weak but in a nutshell it is just a matter of pressing the sleeves in....butI want the poly busing out of the sleeve to make it easier. The instructions say that they can be disassembled but I can only get the middle spacer out.

Does the Poly bushing actually come out of the sleeve? How did you get it out?

FYI for anyone who stubmles on this in the same situation.....put them in the freezer then tap them out. hardens the poly and prevents then from compressing/expanding while you are trying to push them out. they come out very easy

Re: Energy Susp control arm bushing disassembly?

Sorry, didn't see this the other day. Yeah they can be a little bit of a pain to get out. You definitely want them out and then just press the sleeves in. The bushing itself can get destroyed when pressing them in as a set. Done it myself....
