where to get alignment

I stopped by the local alignment shop and asked about bringing my 67 in since I now have everything ready for alignment. As soon as I said 67 Camaro, the guy started shaking his head. Then I made it worse by telling him it was lowered 2 inches , his head shook even more. He said I need to find a place that uses laser tech to align. Is there an alignment chain that anyone knows of that uses it? Any ideas ?

Re: where to get alignment

Check around at your other local alignment shops. We have a shop in our area that doesn't hesitate to align any vehicle and will give classics extra care.

Re: where to get alignment

I'll call around some next week. Just was hoping this place could do it sonce it is only a few miles down the road. I live in a small town and it's the only one here. I guess I'll wind up going down the road further to get it done.

Techo talk translates to "I dont know how to do those"

use the search function above....about 3 months ago i wrote a post decribing what size shims front/back change caster chamber....also what to ask to find out if the guy knows what the hell he is doing
In that threads there are also specs and links to Dave P s web site re specs and effects of lowing and changing factory stance
Search function is your best friend.

My Spelling is not incorrect...it is creative
