67 Camaro convertible mono leaf springs

I have a chance to purchase a pair of mono leaf springs off a 1967 Camaro coupe. I'm wanting to put these on my 67 convertible. My question is are the coupe springs going to be too weak or saggy for my convertible? What if they were re-arched? has anyone out there used coupe springs on a convertible, if so did they work?
Thanks,
Sean

Re: 67 Camaro convertible mono leaf springs

I wouldn't bother with any used ones. New ones are cheap enough.
IIRC, the convertible monos are a little stiffer? Maybe somebody else can confirm. Too bad you weren't closer, i'd give you my used monos. I installed JC Whitney 3 leafs and never looked back.

Re: 67 Camaro convertible mono leaf springs

I measured the new monos from eaton for verts and they are the same thickness as coupes. I re-arched some original coupe monos for my vert (1.5" over stock vert height) and they worked great! Of course, the shop doing the work has to know what they are doing
