BMR Body Mount Bushings

I'm undecided on what sort of body mount bushings to use, definitely don't want rubber, and have found poly bushings to be noisy at times; so had narrowed it down to solid aluminum, that is until I saw these:

Made of Delrin, fairly pricey but I'm not planning to replace them again anytime soon.....
Has anyone used these, and is there any advantage of Delrin over solid alum?
(Kit does the 4 subframe to body mounts and the 2 rad supports).
Thanks in advance for opinions/suggestions!

Didn't know they existed. I have aluminum and read in other posts they were the way to go. I'm sure those would be real close to the aluminum.

Thanks Rob. Well if there is no advantage over aluminum, will probably go with those then - slightly cheaper too!

Do you have subframe connectors? If you do, another great add on, make sure you tell them when ordering. I had to get different ones with S/F connectors!

Re: BMR Body Mount Bushings

No - car had them when I got it, but took them off and flipped them - beginning to wonder if that was such a smart move......
Then again they were original late 60's design (Day 2 stuff) so much better available now. Will see how it handles without them and decide then - car will mostly be street-driven but planning a few track days eventually!

Delrin wont corrode. Don't know if that's a concern for you or if you live near the coast.

edit: Guess I should have checked the link first, corrosion issue is one of there selling points so, I guess you already knew that

Bobby, I had read that but appreciate you pointing it out in case I'd missed it, as it is relevant. I'm well away from the coast and the car won't be used much in inclement weather, but it's a definite advantage over other types of bushing. Thanks for all replies, will probably go with the Delrin just to try something different!
