manual steering worm adjuster leaking

I just pulled the manual steering box out of my 69 z28 to re-seal it. It is leaking out theworm gear adjuster on the bottom. I searched and found something about an oring seal but cant seem to find one. There isnt one shown in the gm shop manual. Ihave been using permatex #2 as manual suggests and it just starts leaking again ina year or so. Any ideas? Im considering buying a new fast ratio manual box if all else fails. Thanks.
